Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, DARE TO LEAD™ is an
empirically based courage-building program, designed to move leaders
from armored to daring leadership. Join US for a two-day Dare to
Lead™ workshop and learn how to step more fully into your
courageous leadership:
SESSION ONE
8am-5:00pm
Wednesday, January 15, 2019
&
SESSION TWO
8am-5:00pm
Friday, February 21, 2019
_Breakfast and lunch will be provided during each session._
Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston and has
spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and
empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous
leadership. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest
research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are
teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program
focuses on developing these courage-building skills through
experiential training.
Led by GG Johnston, a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator
[https://daretolead.brenebrown.com/], and Abbey O'Neal with Downstream
Partners, LLC [https://www.downstreampartners.com], this two-day
workshop will guide participants in how to become more courageous
leaders. By completing this Dare to Lead™ program, leaders will
receive a certificate of completion and will earn a Dare to Lead
Trained badge for use on their LinkedIn profile.
Attendance to both the January 15 and February 21 session is required
to earn a certificate of completion. Registration rate covers both
dates of the workshop, and includes breakfast and lunch during each
session. Registration does not include parking.
