Do Kabbalah and tarot relate to initiatory societies and the mystery schools?

October's topic will be conducted by Bro. Lavinia Rathbun on a study of Freemasonry: Do KABBALAH AND TAROT RELATE TO INITIATORY SOCIETIES AND THE MYSTERY SCHOOLS? After a short lecture, a discussion and debate by the group will follow.Tarot is essentially Kabbalah and it breaks down even further to reveal similarities to almost all the theologies of the mystery schools and initiatory practices, such as Freemasonry. The message hidden in plain sight is that of the alchemist or magician. It relates a formula for spirit to come into matter, and for the initiate, the formula for matter to rise again into spirit. We will examine how this all pertain''s to the initiate''s relationship with reality.
