The further one studies tarot, more complex dimensions of meaning can
be unearthed. Sepher Yetzirah, or The Book of Formation, has provided
the framework for two such dimensions: the Tree of Life, and the
lesser-discussed Cube of SPACE. With the latter's 3D arrangement of
the Major Arcana, fresh perspectives can provide a three-dimensional
understanding to divination, meditation and ritual work.Building off
of the work of Paul Foster Case, Kevin Townley, and other esoteric
scholars, we begin with Sepher Yetzirah’s “brief history of
everything”. We then approach the Cube from inside as well as out,
see the tarot mapped out in a 3D space, examine the correlations with
astrology and sacred geometry, and discuss the new relationships
between cards that emerge. This becomes a re-wiring of tarot
connections as well as synapses, opening the door to a more voluminous
experience.
