_Swallow Hill Music's Hootenanny originally scheduled for April 3,
2020 has been canceled.__We thank our concert patrons for their
patience while we respond to the developing COVID—19 pandemic. _
_Folks like yourself have kept Swallow Hill open for 40 years. When we
reopen our doors, it will be with the support of our close-knit music
community. Best wishes for good health in these challenging times._
An old-fashioned hootenanny is the best possible place to learn new
songs and new licks, and to hear old songs performed in entirely new
ways.
Our hootenannies are a combination open stage, mass sing-a-long and
groovin' good time. In the cozy environs of the Tuft Theater, the
hootenanny is set up like an open stage, with a signup sheet (sign-up
starts at 6:30 pm in the Café, with the hoot beginning at 7 pm in
Tuft) and a hoot leader (sometimes even Harry Tuft himself!).
Join us for this centuries-old tradition of sharing musical ideas with
like-minded folks.
$3 pay or play.
