Socrates Cafe @ DU

We choose a topic, share our thoughts about it, and then ask each other questions. This is not a debate where there are winners and losers, but a way to really hear and be heard and get beyond just service opinions. Everyone is welcome who is interested in what others think and who want to participate in a good dialogue to clarify there own thinking. We are non-political, we don't vote or try to reach a consensus.  Most who come read, but we share our own thoughts that result from the reading we do and from everything else that has formed our thinking and our opinions. As Chris Phillips, the inspiration for our groups with his book "Socrates Cafe", says, "We seek truth by our own lights." Free and open to everyone. Join us!
