Learn functional anatomy and new tools for creating a calm and coherent nervous system with grounded insight, empathy, and compassion.
Psoas is the filet mignon of the human body. Otherwise known as the "hip flexor," your psoas is a soft tissue organ that connects your spine to your legs. If you experience low back or pelvic pain, tight hips, sore feet, or restless legs, then your psoas might be asking for attention.
This training workshop is for all students, Yoga teachers, physical therapists, and bodyworkers who want a new perspective on pain and stress management. We will explore the functional anatomy, physiology, and bio-intelligence of your psoas through breathing, meditation, somatic movement, spatial memory, and sense perception. You will learn new tools for creating a calm and coherent nervous system so that you can better support your health and the people around you with grounded insight, empathy, and compassion.
Open to students of all levels. 3 CEU's available for Registered Yoga Teachers.
