Jeff Jaros is a long-time Swallow Hill teacher as well as manager of the Denver Folklore Center for over 20 years. Jeff specializes in clawhammer banjo, fiddle, and guitar.
Dick Weissman has had a long and colorful career as a banjoist and guitarist, performer, member of the legendary folk-pop group the Journeymen. He has written songs for such disparate artists as Judy Collins, Merv Griffin, Lothar & the Hand People and Carly and Lucy Simon. He has played on/or produced dozens of recordings in numerous musical styles, and his original music has been featured on NBC, BBC, and in several documentary films.
Pete Wernick is renowned worldwide for his accomplishments and contributions to bluegrass music: the hot-picking force in several trend-setting bands including Hot Rize, innovative teacher and author, songwriter, and long-term President of the International Bluegrass Music Association.
