TEDxYouth@CECFC is a student-run event designed to connect and inform
Northern Colorado. Our eleven speakers will be speaking under a word
we all found important in modern culture: evolve-- how we as
individuals and as a society can grow and change for the better. Our
eight student speakers, Elijah Faye, Ella Bruno, Tobin Houchin, Audrey
Anderson, Gwendolyn Rewoldt, Zac Huss, Adrienne Newlin, and Branson
Camp, will inspire the audience with topics of story telling, success,
creativity, and important what-if questions. Our four adult speakers,
Chris Blocker, Jess Sklba, and Michael Brown, and Cary Klataske, are
all teachers and professors, and performers in Northern Colorado and
will be sharing valuable messages they have learned in their careers.
To further influence the community, we will be asking for one
non-perishable food item or $2 per session as a ticket into our event.
A link to our signup sheet is on the TED website. All food collected
will go to the food banks in Northern Colorado. We want to change the
community, and with your contribution, we can. TEDxYouth@CECFC will be
held in the King Auditorium at Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins
High School from 3:30 to 8:00 on November 12th. The night will be
divided into five sessions: Creativity, Perspective, Your Story,
Grit, and Growth. Throughout the night, attendees can choose to listen
to a speech or converse outside with other speakers about their chosen
subjects. Come support our cause in this community-wide event!
Together, with the spreading of knowledge, ideas, and important
questions, we can evolve for the better.
