“Elegant yet natural,” “Passionate yet deliberate,” and “Chiseled yet expressive,” describe this impressive Korean pianist. After a brilliant performance of Beethoven’s “Emperor Concerto” with the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra, Wes Kenney conducting, this rising young star from Korea once again returns to dazzle Fort Collins audiences with her elegant and passionate playing.

Ms. Lee has garnered international recognition in several competitions, including third prize at the 2006 “Jaén” International Piano Competition, second prize at the Calabria piano competition in Italy, and third prize in the Prix Amaeo International Competition in Germany. In Korea, Ms. Lee won first prize at the 6th National Chopin Competition and the Kumho Young Musicians Competition, and was a finalist in the 2010 Isang Yun International Competition.
