Volunteer with the Colorado Environmental Film FESTIVAL WHO VALUE THE
NATURAL WORLD AND SHARE A PASSION FOR THE POWER AND BEAUTY OF FILM.
The Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) is an exciting,
inspiring, and energizing event that includes world-class
environmental films with representatives from local and national
organizations. CEFF screens feature length and short films by foreign,
local and young filmmakers.
There are 3 areas to volunteer.
Ticket Taker (5 spots) 3-7pm - Love watching environmental films?
Here’s your (free) chance! You will be taking tickets outside one of
two theaters. You will be standing during part of your shift,
interacting with patrons, and are encouraged to watch and enjoy the
films. You will also be a runner with the microphone during the Q & A
sessions with filmmakers. All training will be provided. Thanks for
being prompt and sticking around through completion to help us with
clean-up and resetting the theater!
Silent Auction (3 spots) 4-8pm - Help sell auction items by drumming
up excitement and support! This shift is great for people with sales
and service skills. Primary responsibilities will be to help with
setup and taken down of the auction items, as well as encouraging
people to bid on the amazing items in the CEFF Silent Auction.
Additional tasks include collection of bid sheets, coordinating
payment, transferring custody of items to the winning bidders, and
more.
Zero Waste Monitor ( 3 spots ) 4-8pm - Help our event be zero waste!
Volunteer as a zero waste monitor. You will play an important role by
educating attendees about the importance of waste diversion,
monitoring the trash, recycling and food waste bins to help us achieve
zero waste. You will be stationed at or in close proximity to the bins
throughout the reception events and serve as a guide to attendees for
how to properly dispose of materials.
