Colorado Citizens' Climate Lobby: PICNIC

Join Colorado CCL volunteers for a picnic in the foothills west of Denver and hear the latest about the National Conference and Lobby Day from returning lobbyists. Bring a dish to share. A grill is available for those who wish to grill. Soft drinks and beer provided, donation requested at the event.  

Bring your families, children, and grandchildren: playground with swings, slides, and teeter-totters. The picnic area lies on the edge of hundreds of acres of open space, with trails for hiking. Come early and hike or bike on the I70 Genesee bike path.

DIRECTIONS FROM DENVER OR EAST: Drive west on I70 to Genesee Exit 254 where you view the buffalo herd and the continental divide.  The secluded, pine-forested picnic area is one mile north of the exit. 

Registration is free and no need to print out your ticket.
