One of our most popular options! We'll use our decades of knowledge to help you find the perfect adventure for your group- all ages are welcome, and no snowshoe experience is needed. Our Naturalists are experts at winter ecology, animal tracking, plant ID, and engaging youth & adults. A private tour with Yampatika will open your eyes to the natural world around you! We also size, put on, and teach basic snowshoe skills to people of all ages; you’ll be in great hands. Snowshoe rentals are included in the cost and will be brought to the trailhead by your Naturalist. We have snowshoes for kids through adults. Destinations we are permitted for, but limited to, Rabbit Ears Pass, Emerald Mountain/Howelsen Hill, Fish Creek Falls, municipal trails in town, Historic Legacy Ranch, Steamboat Ski Touring Center, and much more! Cost Breakdown: Group size maximum: 12 people (exceptions can be made, but only on our private property). Rate: $200 minimum, includes 2 people for 2 hours - Each additional person + $50 - Each additional hour +50 Travel costs will be determined once the tour location is decided. In-town tours do not have an extra charge. The average group finds 2 hours to be plenty of time outdoors, if a more adventurous area is selected, we may need to adjust the duration of the tour. We can certainly do shorter tours as well.
