Join Sustainable Neighbors from all participating Denver and Lakewood communities for a potluck-style picnic to make connections, share ideas and most importantly celebrate the efforts of our residents. A main dish and beverages will be provided by Sustainable Neighborhoods, but we ask that attendees bring a side dish to share with the group. There is a jungle gym and playground adjacent to the picnic area, and families are encouraged to attend. In addition, there will be lawn games, giveaways and a group activity. We recommend bringing lawn chairs or blankets to sit in the grass, as there is limited space at the picnic tables. We also encourage attendees to bring their own reusable cups/water bottles, plates and cutlery if possible, however compostable servingware will be available.
Please try to carpool, walk, bike or take public transit to minimize the carbon footprint of this event.
