This is an open event to both the members of the NFA and to this 20s-30s outdoor group.
Come for the hike or to merely Star Gaze
Leo the Lion climbs higher in the March evening skies. The brightest star in Leo – Regulus – is more than half way above the horizon at 9:00 PM EDT, not to be mistaken for the brilliant Jupiter below. Looking above and left of Regulus, the stars form a curve like the letter “c”, giving it the appearance of a sickle, or a “backward” question mark.
Park at the bottom parking lot of the Holcombe preserve.
