Calling all #oldschoolmtg and #premodernmtg players across the USA and around the world! Join us for our big event for spring 2020 -- our second annual regional Old School "festival" in Greater Hartford, organized by your friends at
Tournament start time 11:30am sharp, doors open at 11:00am to register, get situated, sign prizes, etc.
Registrants will participate in their choice of one of our two parallel main events:
PREMODERN MAIN EVENT: The inaugural American Championships for
93/94 MAIN EVENT:
BREAK-OUT SIDE EVENTS: Beginning at around 5pm, we will fire an optional 93/94 side event, using the Swedish B&R plus the '
PRE-REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required for this event, which includes entry in one "main event" of the player's choice. This choice is non-binding at the time of pre-registration; players can change their chosen main event at any time prior to March 28 by contacting the organizers. Side event registration is free and optional, and will be handled on-site on the day of the event.
ENTRY / PRIZES: An entry fee of $30 will be used to cover venue reservation costs and unique Old School + Premodern prizes and give-aways. Any funds remaining after expenses will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, our charity partner for this event. The entry fee is non-refundable.
THE VENUE: The event will once again be held at the Elks Lodge in Manchester, CT. We will have a dedicated bartender for the duration of the event, with a cash bar including a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and water. Absolutely no drinks of any kind will be permitted to be brought in from outside the venue.
DECK REGISTRATION: For the 93/94 main event, deck photos (not text lists) will be required, submitted before the tournament start time to the organizers. We will specify the means of uploading the photo to share the week prior to the event. For the Premodern main event, there will be written deck registration on the morning of the event. Premodern players wishing to submit a photo of their deck for event coverage are encouraged to do so.
