Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 5th Annual Town of North Canaan Mother's Day 5K on Saturday, May 3, 2025! This exciting event takes place in the picturesque Northwest Hills of North Canaan and features a fairly flat out-and-back course that begins at the local elementary school. Runners will head north on West Main to the state line before turning around and finishing back at the school, making it an ideal race for participants of all levels. With mile markers, water stations at the finish, and chip timing, this USATF sanctioned and certified 5K course (CT21001JHP) promises a well-organized and enjoyable experience. Awards will be given based on gun finish time, and you can celebrate your achievements with fellow runners at the Great Falls Brewing Company, where awards will be presented around noon.
