Summer should be about having FUN. Kids should go new places, try new things, explore, learn in the real world, and meet and interact with new friends. Summer Learning Clubs do just that. They are focused on real life learning in a small group setting. This group, for children entering kindergarten, first grade or second grade, will be facilitated by two Westport teachers with experience working with students in grades K-12.
On August 20, we will teach you about online math programs you can use all year long to support your schoolwork.
This is a free program for those who attend. Because we are able to admit only a limited number of students, you will be charged $25 upon registration. A full refund will be issued upon attendance at the class. A full refund also will be issued if notification of inability to attend is received by Mary Parmelee (mparmelee@westportlibrary.org or 203.291.4815) by 4 pm on Monday, August 13. This will allow the necessary time to admit a child from the wait list.
