This training will provide an overview of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and basic strategies such as prompting, reinforcement, and visual supports. Learners will understand the steps in implementing these supports and the effects it has for individuals with ASD. This training is specifically geared toward paraprofessionals.  A follow-up webinar is scheduled for Thursday, August 22nd.  Target Audience: Paraprofessionals Registration will begin at 8:00am, with the training starting promptly at 8:30am.  Participants will be given a 1 hour and 30 minute lunch break.  Lunch will not be provided.  Participants will be issued certificates of attendance upon completion of the training.
