1 Saturday, January 10, 12:30 -2:30 pm Figure Drawing Workshop: Introduction to Gestures and Proportions Taught by Michele Tilford , 18+* $30 Member / $33 Non-member Learning to draw the figure from life is useful in learning to draw anything. This class will cover gesture (quick drawings) and the proportions of the figure, while working with a model. (Nude figure: Ages 16-18 with parental permission) Student provides: 18" X 24" newsprint sketchpad, vine charcoal (soft) 6B charcoal pencil, kneaded eraser, drawing board if you have one. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class.
