New Year's Day Hike - Wilmington, DE 2026

Description Date: Thursday, January 1 Time: 12 p.m., beverages start at 11 a.m. Location: Rockwood Park & Museum Ring in the New Year with either a 1- or 2-mile easy-to-moderate hike along the paved paths ringing Rockwood's historic estate and into Bringhurst Woods! Guides will lead visitors through mobile stories of Rockwood's architecture, gardens and the unique landscape of northern Delaware. Dress in layers and wear appropriate footwear (two pairs of socks!). Meet at the Courtyard to the Rockwood Museum entrance. Afterwards, warm up inside the museum with a self-guided tour of the season's feature exhibition Winter Wonderland.
