_Black Mothers in Power_ is a grassroots campaign led primarily by BLACK WOMEN IN THE STATE OF DELAWARE. The focus of the campaign is to address the disparities in BLACK MATERNAL HEALTH IN DELAWARE. This TRAINING IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF WORKING WITH _Black Mothers In Power _but can be beneficial to all individuals, organizations and businesses that want to work in the BLACK COMMUNITY BUT HAVE SYSTEMATIC BARRIERS IN DOING SO. _Black Mothers In Power_ has contracted with a racial and gender equity consulting firm that uses design thinking strategies to create actionable items that can be used across a spectrum. We understand that the "Black community" is not monolithic and diversity persists within the Black community, however, this training is to address and identify common barriers to working collectively with Black communities throughout various sectors and to gain a build better, more inclusive network of individuals seeking to eradicate institutionalized racism.
