Join the Museum Store for the Well-Read BLACK GIRL BOOK CLUB! FREE to
attend! We’re so excited to be partnering with the American
Booksellers Association, One Village Alliance and Brevity Bookspace to
bring a chapter of this hugely popular book club to the DELAWARE ART
MUSEUM. Chandra Pitts of One Village Alliance and Saliym Cooper of
Brevity Bookspace will be facilitating these amazing bookish
adventures. We’re thrilled to offer each month’s selection at a
20% discount! Read on for more info about our meeting dates, monthly
book picks and more! Meetings will take place on the second Thursday
of the month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be
served. We’ll be reading the book club’s Young Adult selection
each month, so this program is suited for anyone ages 13 and up!
We’d love for you to purchase the monthly selection in-store, but
it’s not required! We just want to share our love of books with our
awesome community. Well-Read BLACK GIRL MISSION STATEMENT: “Our
mission is to support diverse voices and emerging writers of color,
one book club meeting at a time. Our literary community is inclusive,
we strive to inspire change and foster connections between bookstores,
readers and authors.” Questions? Want to pre-order a book? Call the
Museum Store: 302-351-8521. See you soon! Thursday, March 12 Making
