Outside the Lines – Altered Book Healing Art Workshop

« All Events RSVP FOR THIS PROGRAM - $15 April 15 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm Event Navigation « Gentle PM Yoga Knitting in the Nook » with Kiersten Gallagher and special guest Denise Feldman Join local artist and cancer survivor, Denise Feldman, for a creative day of cutting, pasting, painting, ripping and writing. In this HEALING ARTS WORKSHOP WE’ll ‘repurpose’ old, gently loved hard back books using a variety of art supplies to create a place that holds our personal health and trauma journeys. Suggested Donation: $15 This series is held twice each month on Wednesdays from 10:30am – 12:30pm. About Denise Feldman Denise Feldman is a local mixed media artist who discovered the power of creativity as a HEALING PRACTICE AFTER HER TREATMENT FOR BREAST CANCER IN 2014. As a creative ‘dabbler’ who loves working with various materials and surfaces, Denise shares her ALTERED BOOK PROCESSES AND SOULFUL PERSPECTIVE WITH THE HOPE OF INSPIRING OTHERS TO TELL THEIR STORIES ‘on the page’ and clear space for life’s chapters yet to come.
