Discover and leverage the power of PubMed’s tools for researchers. A
PubMed My NCBI account allows researchers to save searches and
citations and create customized search filters; streamlining the
searching process. PubMed’s My Bibliography tool provides an avenue
for health science professionals to organize and curate their
publications. And with SciENcv, researchers can assemble the
professional information tailored for federal grantors and reporting
agencies. This workshop will walk you through creating a My NCBI
account and will demonstrate how to use these free tools to improve
your workflow and showcase your professional achievements. All
Georgetown students, faculty, and staff are welcome. In person class
size is limited to 25 students but the workshop can be attended
remotely. There will be light snacks and water available, but you are
welcome to bring your lunch for some meal-time learning. Workshop will
be presented by Angela Barr, Reference and Digital Information
Services Coordinator for Dahlgren Memorial Library.
