Breathwork, an active meditation technique, Reiki, facilitated energy
movement, and guided meditation are used to cultivate improved mental
and physical well-being. By intentionally changing breathing patterns,
emotional release is facilitated, promoting deep relaxation and
increased energy after.
Release what is no longer serving you and create space for the life
that you want. Be prepared to laugh, cry and open in a profound way as
you settle your body in order to explore your mind. The class involves
no movement. Mats or meditation beds will be provided.

Michelle is a Breathwork Healer, Reiki Master, Life Coach and RYT-200
Yoga Instructor based in Washington, DC. With a unique ability to
blend studies of yoga, spiritual practice, mindfulness and science,
Michelle is an intuitive teacher who will push you to your growth
edges while she pushes herself to her own. Through thoughtful
questioning and insightful observation, Michelle will challenge you to
see yourself as you are, as well as the life that you want.
Encouraging you to pursue your fullest life, her work supports you
with tools to get there.
Born and raised in Nebraska, Michelle first had an interest in the
medical field, but soon realized that education could serve as a
preventative tool for good health. As a teacher in Washington, DC
public schools, she works in communities of trauma to mentor young
people in their pursuit towards the lives that they want. She blends
her love of personal development and mindfulness with education
through integrating mindfulness and yoga practices with children and
adults, and serves on committees on mindfulness and Restorative
Justice for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE)
for the District of Columbia.
Michelle spent four years leading strategy and project management of
community initiatives for lululemon Washington, DC. Her development of
the Saturday morning yoga programming received repeated recognition as
one of Washingtonian’s Best Free Fitness options. She has been
featured on Self-Helpless, a top 100 iTunes and Spotify podcast, to
speak about Reiki and the power of positive thinking, and continues to
seek opportunities to both teach and learn on the topics of
alternative healing, spiritual practice and expanding consciousness.
