PHOTOGRAPHY FROM THE 61ST ANNUAL World Press Photo
[https://www.worldpressphoto.org/collection/photo/2018] contest chosen
by an independent jury that reviewed more than 73,000 PHOTOGRAPHS.
Topics include current events and issues related to news, sports, art,
and culture.
The DC EXHIBITION INCLUDES POWERFUL PHOTOGRAPHY FROM THE AFRICAN
PHOTOJOURNALISM DATABASE (APJD), the International Women's Media
Foundation (IWMF), and Agence France-Presse (AFP).
Visiting hours:
Daily: 10am - 6pm (doors close at 7pm)
Closed: Mondays (tours only), Thanksgiving, 22 November 2018
Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite or at the door and are
good for multiple entries and access to all events:
Discounted admission $12
General admission $18
- Audio guides included (first-come first served).
- Children under 14 free admission (accompanied by an adult due to
sensitive nature of some content).
The DUPONT UNDERGROUND is located near the Dupont Circle metro
station. The entrance can be found on where 19th Street meets Dupont
Circle (between the Starbucks and Hotel Dupont).
