Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service is hosting
a GLOBAL IMPACT PITCH COMPETITION, with support from Citi Ventures
[http://www.citi.com/ventures/]. The COMPETITION FEATURES $20,000 in
prize money and networking/mentoring opportunities to help winners
with implementation.Ten semi-finalists will be selected and notified
by November 12th and asked to give a 2-minute pitch and 5-minute Q&A
on November 14 via Zoom, with sympathetic judges who will offer
feedback to improve your pitch (this is a dolphin-tank, not Shark
Tank). From those, five finalists will be chosen for a live 2-minute
pitch at our Awards Ceremony from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday November
18th in the ICC Galleria. Refreshments will be served there, and a
"people's choice" cash-award selected by voice vote, so bring your
supporters!
The event is hosted by the Landegger Program in International
Business Diplomacy (IBD) [https://ibd.georgetown.edu/], with
additional support from the Wallenberg Foundation
[http://www.wallenberg.org/en], and student support from Georgetown
Ventures [https://www.georgetownventures.org/] (a student-run
organization fostering the entrepreneurial community of
Georgetown).
