STRETCH & MOBILITY CLASS OVERVIEWVIDA Stretch is a non-Yoga
flexibility that focuses on relieving common areas of tightness,
strain, stress and pain brought on by everyday activities like
excessive sitting, typing, driving and running. This 45-minute class
uses a mixture of self-myofascial release, static-stretching and
active-stretching, to promote muscular balance, better posture,
increased range of motion and better physical performance.The class is
designed for fitness seekers or all types but is highly recommended
for working professionals that sit at a desk , athletes and those who
participate in high intensity weight or cardio training.MAIN AREAS OF
FOCUS: quads, glutes, IT Band, hip flexors, abdominals, shoulders,
pectoral muscles and neck.CLASS BREAK-DOWN
* 15-20 mins of Self-Myofascial Release (SMR) with foam rollers,
lacrosse balls and etc.
* 25-30 mins of active and static stretch combinations, in targeted
areas.
