SOUTHERN DIPLOMATS PRESENT BLACK & PROUD: A Celebration of the BLACK DIASPORA IN THE DMV. The Southern Diplomats love to celebrate blackness & boldness year round, but 2020 holds special significance with an additional twenty-four hours available to highlight Black History. The Diplomats want to end Black History Month by inviting all of our friends and family to one of the few black owned establishments left in the District, Allure Bar and Lounge. So come and showcase your Blackness by wearing Black, Red, Green or a combination of the three, while celebrating our accomplishments and longevity in the face of adversity.
