Welcome to the 44th edition of the Intensive Bioethics Course. The course will run from June 4-6, 2020, offering stimulating plenary lectures followed by small-group discussions. The course has an emphasis on clinical bioethics featuring major contributions from Georgetown University’s esteemed Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics, as well as faculty from the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Georgetown University has imposed a moratorium on academic meetings on campus, which will include IBC 44 if the moratorium continues into June. We hope it will be lifted before the IBC is scheduled to take place, but we will keep the situation under constant review and post on the IBC website news of any developments. We expect to decide on or before May 4, 2020, whether IBC 44 will go ahead.
