FRANQI FRENCH
Variety recently named Franqi French one of the 2020 – 10 Comics to watch! Make sure you check out the full feature in the September 29th issue. In 2019, NBC crowned her the winner of their National Standup Up Comedy competition and due in 2021 is her first 1 hour comedy special: M.A.D. Out of thousands of submissions and auditions Ms. French was an undeniable stand out. Franqi’ an award-winning talent, who regularly performs coast to coast with appearances at The DC Improv, The Kennedy Center, the Hollywood Improv and the world-famous Comedy Store. Ms. French has shared the stage with Donnell Rawlings, Fortune Feimster, Todd Glass, D.L. Hughley, Nicole Byer, among other talented comedians. She has made guest appearances on WeTV, TVOne’s “The Roland Martin Show,” and she will be a featured comic on season 3 of “Laugh After Dark” on Amazon Prime. Franqi has headlined The Bentzen Ball as well as The Black Women in Comedy Festival in Brooklyn. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA and will be a featured headliner on the Stand Up NBC Summer Tour!

Eddie Morrison is a D.C.-based stand-up comedian and actor. A native of the area, he regularly performs all over the DMV along with comedy venues throughout the country. His appearances include The Comedy Store, DC Improv, and The Kennedy Center as a part of the District of Comedy Festival

D LO
Dana Lollar, aka Comedian D. Lo, hails from Baltimore MD. Always a jokester, DLo stumbled into the comedy world, in Nov 2015, after a leg injury had her out of work. After countless open mics, she began to rise in the Baltimore comedy scene as a force to be reckoned with. Known for her quick wit and comebacks, she is definitely a spitfire on the mic. In her short comedy career she has won more than 30 competitions, been a finalist in Magoobys New Comedian of the Year Competition, headlined various shows in Baltimore, DC, Delaware, Florida, Chicago, Milwaukee, Ohio, NYC, Las Vegas, and Jamaica. She is a regular host at Magoobys Joke House and has been a finalist in Kevin Hart’s “Hart of the City” on Comedy Central. She was a feature act in the 2019 Black Girl Giggles Festival, 2019 Baltimore Comedy Festival, the 2019 DC Comedy Festival, and was an integral part of the 2021 Black Women In Comedy Festival. While doing shows with such favorites as Lonnie Bee, Darren Fleet, and many more, she has also broadened her span of experience by hosting at top comedy clubs such as Magoobys Joke House, The Stand, and many more. More recently she has become part a touring comedy team known as SheMoreFunny. Known as the “roast queen” of Baltimore, and a improv master, she’s sure to leave a lasting impression.

Sahib Singh has quickly become one of Baltimore/DC’s favorite young comedians. In 2019 he won the Magooby’s New Comedian of the Year competition and has showcased his stand-up at clubs and colleges across the east coast. Through his satirical videos he has amassed a strong following on social media and has garnered attention from executives at NBC, CBS, Adult Swim, and Comedy Central. Sahib recently participated in the 2021 Viacom CBS Comedy Showcase, the digital series AS SEEN ON ADULT SWIM, and will be joining Comedy Central’s team as a part of their Creators Program. This fall, he will be opening for Hasan Minhaj at the Kennedy Center.
