Author Izzy Gesell presents his inspiring talk on managing stress and change through humor. A Parkinson’s or MS diagnosis affects patients, care partners, family, and friends. It turns out one of the best ways to manage the stress, uncertainty, and change that piggyback onto the diagnosis is learning to use Improv and play as much as possible. This workshop offers 3 ways to use Improv practices and 4 ways to understand humor as tools build competence and self-confidence while strengthening relationships and bringing more laughter into your life and the lives of those you care for.
