YOUR FACILITATORS ARE PROFESSOR BETH KERLY AND DR. ANDREW GOLD.
BETH is a full-time tenured business faculty member at Hillsborough
Community College, and adjunct faculty at the University of Tampa. In
addition to her teaching activities, Kerly serves as the co-founder of
the HCC Entrepreneurship and Innovation program.She actively works in
promoting and building community and business relationships for HCC
and its students. Professor Kerly is also co-founder of e2Venture and
Operation Startup.
ANDY is a longtime social entrepreneur, educator and cofounder of
Operation Start Up and e2Venture. Dr. Gold is a full-time business
faculty member at Hillsborough Community College, and teaches in the
graduate school at the University of Tampa, and the University of
South Florida.Gold is a co-founder of the HCC Innovation and
Entrepreneurship Program, serving as an internal entrepreneurial
evangelist at HCC.
In this program, you will learn about the business modeling process
and how to use the Business Model Canvas tool to validate business
model assumptions.
All Operation Start-up Workshops align with The Business Model Canvas,
a tool used by entrepreneurs and business owners to validate their
