The beloved mockumentary reaches a new level of laughs with The
Office! A Musical Parody. Fans of the television series will be happy
to know that all their favorite characters are on board, as are some
key plot elements. When the original British version of The Office
premiered in 2001, it brought something completely new to television
comedy. Sure, sitcoms had lampooned office culture before, but never
with the cringe-inducing level of awkwardness that creators Ricky
Gervais and Stephen Merchant allowed their characters to display. Then
the American Office became an enormous hit series -- and a comedy
landmark. In the hands of writers Bob and Tobly McSmith, the stage
version adds an unexpected tuneful touch that takes things to another
place entirely, and the outrageousness lives on. This show is General
Admission theater-style seating. VIP Seating locations within the
first three rows include a post-show photo opportunity on stage with
cast. The Skywalk elevator in the A&E Parking Garage is currently
under renovation. For accessible entry to the Broward Center, cross NW
2nd Street and follow the accessible signs to the lower entry doors.
From garage levels 2 and 3, take the elevator to the ground floor and
proceed to the lower entry doors. Passenger drop off at the top of the
valet ramp is also available, with early arrival encouraged for use.
Plan your visit before you go to the show for info on parking using
the ParkMobile app, dining experiences including the Nicklaus
Children's Health System Intermezzo Lounge and our food and drink
options in the lobby. Find all the information you need to help make
your experience as magical as what happens on stage at
BrowardCenter.org/visit. This event contains adult language or
content.
