Our comprehensive and nationally recognized YMCA Lifeguard Training course includes accident prevention, lifeguarding techniques, emergency systems, and rescue skills. Our course also includes CPR for the professional Rescuer with AED, Oxygen Administration and First Aid certification in addition to the lifeguard certification. A YMCA Lifeguard Manual, Hip Pack, Whistle, and Resuscitation Mask will be provided. Class size is limited, pre-registration is recommended. Minimum of four participants needed to run the class. Candidates must pass a pre-requisite swim on the first night of class. YMCA Lifeguard books, hip pack/mask and whistle in addition to the eLearnings and due dates will be givien at the conclusion of the pre-requisite swim on the first night of class. All eLearnings must be completed by the due dates as assigned by the instructor. Candidates will not be allowed to continue the course if eLearnings are not completed on time.
