Swim Lessons - School Age - Intermediate - Tampa, FL 2026

Description Our school age swim lesson program works with children ages 6 – 12 years. Classes are progressive and will focus on a variety of skills based on the child’s individual ability at the time of lessons. For beginner swimmers, our classes will focus on developing comfort going underwater, self-rescue skills, body position/control, changing directions and forward movement. Intermediate swimmers will focus on the above skills performed at longer distances, in addition they will learn side breathing and integrated arm/leg action with basic stroke technique. More advanced swimmers will focus on stroke technique for front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly with progressively longer distances being practiced.
