Contemporary workshop with Tina Kay Bohnstedt

We are thrilled to be hosting a Master Class at Kirova Ballet Academy with the amazing Tina Kay Bohnstedt. Tina is a professional contemporary dancer who has choreographed winning numbers for several YAGP and WBC competitors.

In 2007 Tina choreographed her first piece for Diablo Ballet, the critically acclaimed The Mirror. She created several other works for the company including A Tribute to Lena Horne, a piece choreographed in honor of her late mother. She has also choreographed pieces for Diablo Ballet Apprentice Program, Kirov Ballet Academy, Northern California Dance Conservatory, Metropolitan Ballet Academy, Colorado Conservatory of Dance, Contra Costa Ballet, Houston Ballet II, Houston Ballet, Uptown Dance Company, Space Coast Ballet Academy and Atlanta Ballet 2.

Class for dancers ages 8+

Minimal of 2 years ballet experience, at least 1 year jazz or contemporary.

This class is offered as part of Kirova Ballet Intensive Summer program and is open to public.
