Winter Beach Volleyball Clinics for 6th-12th Grade Boys and Girls January 12th-31st--3 weeks/7 classes total Mondays and Wednesdays 11-2PM On Friday, Jan 31st there will be a Queen/King of the Beach Tournament ending the clinic. Beginners/Intermediate: Monday and Wednesdays 11-12:30 (New players or players with less than 3 years of volleyball) Advanced: Monday and Wednesdays 12:30-2 (3+ years of volleyball) Bloomingdale West Park and Community Center 3940 Canoga Park Dr, Brandon, FL 33511 Come join this 2nd year of HEAT Beach Volleyball Clinic!! This will be great for anyone who is wanting to become a better court and/or beach volleyball player, try out beach volleyball, needs conditioning for club or who just wants to get better and faster on the court. Each session will be 1.5 hours long and will include individual skills, advancement and group training. Participants must be in grades 6-12 and is open to both boys and girls! In the 11-12:30 session, there will be a court for newer players and a court for intermediate players. The 12:30-2 session is for all volleyball players who have 3+ years of volleyball experience. Space is limited and you must be registered and paid to guarantee your spot. Clinics will be led by Coach Fernando Saavedra and the beginner/intermediate session will be also assisted by HEAT high school experienced beach players. **Please text Jennifer Luttrell with any questions 574-303-7285 Coach Fernando Saavedra Bio: Fernando Saavedra believes the positive encouragement and support for his team players will provide the unity base that all teams need to be successful as one unit. He played for the Bolivian FIVB beach professional volleyball team in 98 and for the national team for 3 years from 1997-2000. He competed at the Open beach level for over 15 years. He has been coaching volleyball since 2001. He was nominated as the national winner for positive coaching alliance in the 2021-22 season.
