We're buzzing with excitement!! Bee FRIENDS FARM IS CELEBRATING
NATIONAL HONEY BEE DAY WITH OUR SECOND ANNUAL HONEY BEE FESTIVAL!
We're ready to make year two even bigger and better! Hang out with us
on National HONEY BEE DAY IN THE AIR-conditioned Fairgrounds (near
Manifest Distilling and Intuition Ale Works). Shop over 60 local
vendors in our Buzy Bee Marketplace, join your child in our Bee a Kid
Zone, learn the basics of beekeeping in our HONEY BEE EDUCATION ANNEX
AND TASTE AND BUY LOCAL FLORIDA HONEY IN OUR BEE FRIENDS FARM HONEY
TASTING BAR.
The Buzy Bee Marketplace features over 60 amazing local producers like
Tea Nation USA, Lucy Lou's, 1748 Bakehouse, Anney Life Designs just to
name a few! We are currently accepting vendor applications and you can

The Bee a Kid Zone will by hosted by the Clay County Stingers, a 4-H
club dedicated to young beekeepers. The Bee A Kid Zone features
hands-on modules for children to learn about bee biology, how HONEY IS
PRODUCED AND DISCOVER MORE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AROUND THEM. At other
stations, kids can craft art and plant a seed.
The HONEY BEE EDUCATIONAL ANNEX WILL HOST ENGAGING, educational
speakers with sessions that extend throughout the day. There will be
sessions on Backyard Beekeeping, Planting for Pollinators and more!
(Seating will be limited, please come prepared to sit next to a new
friend or stand.)
Ask a Beekeeper! The JACKSONVILLE Beekeepers Association, Clay County
Beekeepers Association and more will be on-sight to discuss local
beekeeping, backyard beekeeping and more,
This family-friendly FESTIVAL IS FREE TO ATTEND. Easy, onsite parking
is available for just $5 per car at the Fairgrounds. We encourage
fest-goers to keep it green by carpooling!

This festival is hosted by local apiary, Bee Friends Farm. At Bee
Friends Farm we do our part daily when it comes to educating our
community but we want to take that a step further by participating in
