Nickelodeon Time Capsule Opening 2042

On April 30, 1992, the Nickelodeon Time Capsule was sealed and buried at Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida. It will remained sealed for 50, set to be opened on April 30, 2042 for the new generation of children.

Kids voted for items they deemed important enough at the time to be buried in the capsule, including:

Roller Blades
Nicktoons T-shirt
Barbie Doll
Hostess Twinkies
Pump Sneakers
Skateboard
Bubble Gum
Lead Pencils
Baseball
Gameboy
Blossom "whoa!" ballcap
Gak
Photos of things to big to put in capsule:
bicycle, trains, cars, politicians, celebrities, etc.

On April 30, 2005, exactly 13 years later, Nickelodeon Studios closed down. In August 2006, the time capsule was relocated to the Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Orlando.

The Nickelodeon Time Capsule will be opened at Orlando's Nickeldoen Suites Resorton Wednesday, April 30, 2042.
