ABOUT "LE SHERIFF":
Henry aka ‘Le Sheriff’ has been dancing since the age of five. He
began performing at birthday parties and later transitioned to shows
at school events.
In 2007 he started an all-male African Contemporary Dance group
called "Selection Naturelle" at UMass Boston. They performed at
various cultural shows and events all over Massachusetts. Some of the
venues include M.I.T., Harvard University, Boston College,
Northeastern University, Brandeis University, Babson College, UMass
Dartmouth and the Alvin Ailey School of Dance.
In the summer of 2012, he administered the
first African Contemporary Dance Class (ACDC) at the Salvation
Army Recreational Center (Kroc Center). It was an eight-week session
for adults above the age of eighteen.
In 2015 he choreographed and appeared in a music video for Cameroonian
Afrobeat artists, Fluri Boys, called “Shale`”.
