Networking and educational LUNCH FOR SMALL AND SOLO LAW FIRM PEOPLE. Hey there! My name is Maria Jose Granados-Godoy, my firm is Simply Legal: where law, real estate and business meet. As a small firm, I’ve been reaching out to experts to help us build our firm as a “business” and I realized that I’m not the only lawyer who didn’t learn how to be an entrepreneur in law school. So instead of doing all this work to educate just me and my firm, I’ve decided to hold a series of lunch and learns so we can help our legal community up our game. Last one was based on "The 7 Main Parts of Every Successful Law Firm". It was amazing and inspirational to be able to share lunch and conversation with some other attorneys. Exchange of ideas is always positive. Our goal is to learn business basics to help us be more profitable. After all, if one of our firms gets better at the business of running our firm, then it reflects positively on all of our legal community in Miami. Vanessa will talk about her experience growing her firm and will provide details on her meteoric climb.
