Orchestra Miami presents Mozart’s The Magic Flute in a special
production for kids staged by Emmy award winning director David
Grabarkewitz & conducted by Elaine Rinaldi, with costumes designed by
Marina Pareja. Sung in English, with dialogue in a new translation by
David Grabarkewitz. Join us for an enchanted journey, where our hero
Tamino treads the path to enlightenment, ultimately guided by his
beloved Pamina. The forces of evil are at hand, in the guise of the
Queen and her servant Monostotos, countered by the benevolent Priest
Sarastro. The charming bird-catcher Papageno, three ladies, a host of
animals, an enchanted flute and a wild snake-monster help tell one of
the greatest tales in opera! This magical performance features an

opera, focusing on the magical bits, and includes a meet-and-greet
