About Jocelyn Cortez Young
Jocelyn Cortez Young is a sought-after CEO, advisor, investor and board member for social impact and technology businesses. A seasoned investor, she is dedicated to investing in scalable companies with a social impact and financial return. She founded Minerva Capital in 2019 and the investment portfolio spans the Americas. Her focus is venture and growth impact companies, especially in the education, health, services, and technology sectors. As a social impact innovator, Jocelyn focuses on applying disruptive technology to existing operating companies and to new spaces. As CEO and founder, Jocelyn raised millions from investors all around the world. Some of her key investments include Singularity, Bluedot, Moon Express, and EXO Works. Jocelyn services on a number of boards, including TWIN – The World Innovation Network, Kellogg Alumni Council, and Young President’s Organization – Forum Committee Member of the International Board. Jocelyn launched her career on Wall Street in International Equities for Goldman Sachs where she lead the expansion of their Brazil and Mexico offices. She then further developed a portfolio of $1 billion in assets as an emerging market equity derivatives trader for Credit Suisse. Jocelyn holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from Stern School of Business at NYU. She is currently finishing her OPM Degree from Harvard Business School. Jocelyn speaks four languages and is an avid kite surfer.
About Oliva Ramos
Olivia Ramos is an entrepreneur, real estate developer and architect. She is the founder and CEO of Deep Blocks, a technology company using artificial intelligence to optimize real estate development. Her experience in real estate is comprehensive, encompassing brokerage, finance, architecture, and construction of development projects. Olivia is a graduate of all three Singularity University startup programs, and was the only woman to participate in the DARPA Innovation House. She holds a Master's of Architecture from Columbia University, a Master's of Real Estate Development from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor's in Architecture from the University of Florida.
