Nothing goes better with wine than CHEESE, so we're celebrating this delicious pairing with our annual Wine & CHEESE FESTIVAL. This event will feature all the Lakeridge FESTIVAL STANDARDS INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC, Lakeridge wine by the glass, beer, soft drinks and a variety of food available for purchase. COMPLIMENTARY WINE & CHEESE TASTING For this special event we’ve kicked up our complimentary wine tasting with the centuries-old tradition of wine and cheese pairings. We’ve worked hard to create the perfect pairings of our quality wines, with a variety of quality Boar’s Head cheeses. While a wine or a cheese by itself may be great, finding the perfect pairing of wine and cheese can make for a spectacular experience. LARGE FOOD COURT We offer a large variety of wine, beer, soft drinks and food for purchase at the event. Our food pavilion features a huge selection of quality food options such as American, Greek, Mexican, Seafood, BBQ, plus wraps and salads. You can also enjoy Wine Slushies, Twistee Treat ice cream, and kettle corn. MUSIC ON THE OUTDOOR STAGE We feature some of the area’s top bands on our outdoor stage in a variety of genres such as pop, rock, blues and jazz. Our outdoor stage is surrounded by large Oak trees with beautiful views of our vineyard and rolling hills. So, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come enjoy the great music. The Wine & Cheese Bar features all of our famous Lakeridge wines by the glass, a variety of beers, and of course our cheese plates made from high quality Boars Head cheese! WINE & CHEESE BAR ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE Saturday - September 14th, 2019 Noon - 4pm - Theo Moon Sunday - September 15th, 2019 Noon - 4pm - Joe Hand FUN & GAMES We think we have one of the most beautiful venues around for outdoor music and fun. Our festival grounds feature large shade trees and open grassy areas to set up your chairs or blanket. It's the perfect place to listen to live music and enjoy the great outdoors. To add to the fun, we have a large number of cornhole games set up for everyone to play and enjoy for free. It’s the little things in life! COMPLIMENTARY WINERY TOURS & TASTING WINERY TOURS Tours usually run every 15-20 minutes during the festivals and start with a video presentation which shows the growing of the Florida grapes to the wine making process, and the finishing with the bottling and labeling. Your personal Tour Guide will then show you the production area and the spectacular view of the vineyards where the grapes are grown and harvested. WINE TASTING Enjoy a sample of up to 6-8 different wines as you walk through our production area and stop at each wine station. You will taste our award winning wines from dry to sweet including reds, whites, sparkling, and dessert style wines. ID REQUIREMENTS FOR TASTINGS US citizens: state issued drivers license, military ID, or state ID card. International guests: Original passport preferred, or valid government issued photo ID with birthdate. Original passport will be required if government ID cannot be validated.
