12:00 pm - Chasco Fiesta Dragon Boat Races The Chasco Fiesta 2nd
Annual Dragon Boat Race We’re excited to announce that we are
bringing back the dragon boat festival for the second consecutive
year! This thrilling event will feature a knockout-style competition
in 10-paddler boats, with teams racing 250 meters in 2 lanes on the
downtown New Port Richey canal. Join us for a day filled with
delicious food, lively entertainment, and all the fun of race day in
our charming Gulf Coast town. We’re thrilled to be a part of this
vibrant celebration and look forward to seeing you there! 1:00 pm -
3:00 pm - Meares Plumbing and Electrical Chasco Fiesta Street Parade
Theme: Cinema & Symphony: 100 Years of Music in Film The parade begins
at Grand Blvd. and Gulf Drive at 1:00 p.m. and Ends at Main Street and
U. S. 19. Streets will start closing at 10:00 AM. A fabulous
combination of floats, Krewes, local talent, clowns, and horses make
this parade one of the premier parades on Florida’s Suncoast. Entry
Fee: $250 for-profit organizations and Krewes; $100 not-for-profit
organizations.
