Public Record/Case Record Requests, Risk Management and Guardianship Workshop

From Tue 18 June 2019 to Wed 19 June 2019
1:00 PM - 12:00 PM
Ended

The FCC Legal Issues Subcommittee will come together to review a draft of the Public Records/Case Record Request Guidelines.  An attorney who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in child welfare cases will discuss risk management issues.  Lastly, we will discuss the Regis Little Act requirements and the limited guardians available to represent our youth.  We will flush out the issue and discuss possible strategies and solutions.  We encourage lead agencies and providers to send representatives to discuss these pressing issues.  In the evening of July 18, we will have an informal gathering to get to know each other and discuss pressing legal issues across the state.  AGENDA FOR THE EVENT: JUNE 18, 2019 1:00-5:30 pm   Review Draft Public Records/Case Record Request Guidelines 7:00-9:00 pm   FCC Legal Issues Subcommittee Meet and Greet - Open Discussion (Olive Garden: 4101 Conroy Road Mall of Millenia, Orlando, FL 32839) JUNE 19, 2019 8:30-10:45 am      Risk Management - Mark B.
