Daring leadership is a collection of four skill sets that are 100%
teachable, observable, and measurable. The foundational skill set of
courage-building is “rumbling with vulnerability.” Once we have
built these rumbling skills, we can move on to the other three skill
sets: Living into Our Values, Braving Trust, and Learning to Rise. Our
ability to be daring leaders will never be greater than our capacity
for vulnerability.
Frances Cutshaw, the facilitator of Dare to Lead™ and Braver
Communities, has served 20 years in pastoring, social work and
leadership. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of
United Ministries of Pensacola where she led a small faith-based
nonprofit through big change.
Dr. Brené Brown has spent the past two decades studying courage,
vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of five #1 New
York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly,
Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and her latest book, Dare to
Lead, which is the culmination of a seven-year study on courage and
leadership.
Participants who complete the 24 hour training will earn the
designation of being "Dare to Lead™ Trained" and will be assigned a
