Join 350 Pensacola as explore how animal agriculture is a driving force behind almost EVERY MAJOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM WE FACE TODAY, including CLIMATE CHANGE. Our special guest presenter is Tracey Winter Glover, JD, founder and executive director of the intersectional animal rights group Awakening Respect and Compassion for all Sentient Beings. Tracey discusses the impacts animal agriculture has on the planet, as well as the myriad benefits of a plant-based diet for the earth, the animals, and our own health. She’ll also help us overcome many of the common obstacles people face when trying to transition to a plant-based diet, from the power of our own habits, societal pressure, and health concerns. Vegan snacks from End of the Line Café will be served. This presentation is part of a regular presentation series on CLIMATE CHANGE AND RELATED ISSUES SPONSORED BY 350 PENSACOLA. Since 2010, 350 Pensacola has worked for CLIMATE EDUCATION AND ACTION AS THE ONLY CLIMATE-focused organization in northwest Florida.
