Join a High-Energy Minecraft Design Challenge! This immersive,
week-long workshop is limited to just 7 students who will form a team
to create and submit a competitive entry for the newly launched
Minecraft Education New Jax City Build Competition, hosted by the City
of Jacksonville. The initiative features a virtual design challenge
that culminates in a dynamic, Esports-style live event known as The
Mayor’s Cup. During the final showdown, top teams from across grade
levels will showcase their builds to educators, city leaders, and
industry experts. Program Highlights: ?️ Inspire Creativity &
Innovation Reimagine the future of Jacksonville using game-based
learning while contributing ideas that could shape the city’s
development. ? Advance STEM & Urban Planning Gain hands-on experience
with infrastructure design, sustainability, and real-world
problem-solving in a simulated environment. ? Strengthen Civic
Engagement Explore how city planning works through collaboration with
schools, government, and community professionals. ? Build 21st-Century
Skills Sharpen leadership, digital literacy, critical thinking, and
teamwork in a project-based setting. ? Celebrate Student Impact Take
part in a high-profile showcase where student efforts are recognized
and celebrated by the wider community. Important Note: If selected for
the finals, students must be available to participate in follow-up

Spots Available Team size is capped at 7 students per competition
rules. Preference will be given to students with prior experience in
Minecraft Education, especially those who have participated in Wize
programs.
